A gangster, Bi-seok (played by Lim Chang-jung), is tasked with a real estate development project to evacuate the village. The next day when he returns to the village, he encounters a girl named Myeong-ran (played by Ha Ji-won) and a group of villagers determined to defend their home, making Bi-seok's mission much more challenging.
Myeong-ran is a boxer with nimble hands and feet who dreams of becoming the Asian champion. She also needs to take care of her disabled father and young brother.
