内容简介:
This book provides a profound and compelling description of father-son relationships. Author Michael J. Diamond has conducted over 30 years of research on father-son relationships. He firmly believes that the role of a father is crucial to the development of both the son and the father himself. The book discusses the concept of being a "good enough father" - someone who can nurture their emotions, be fully present in their child's inner world, and facilitate their child's growth. Diamond analyzes the stages of father-son relationships throughout the life cycle, from the pregnancy of the wife, to the son's independence and maturity, and ultimately to the acceptance of death as a reality. This book lays a solid foundation for readers to understand father-son relationships.
